Pine unveils new summer sports leagues catering to adults.

For adults looking to stay active and engaged in the community, the Pine Parks and Recreation Department has some exciting news. Starting in June, the department is offering sports leagues for grown-ups, including soccer, softball, flag football, and sand volleyball. This is the first time the department is providing such programs for adults, creating an interesting opportunity for grownups to stay active and engaged in the community.

The department has partnered with Sports Monster Pittsburgh, a local branch of a well-established national company that specializes in organizing leagues, tournaments, and events. The co-ed program is open to athletes aged 19 and older, who can register either as a team or as individuals to be placed in teams. The schedule for each sport is as follows:

Soccer: Sundays from 6 to 9 p.m., June 9 to Aug. 18.

Softball: Mondays from 6:30 to 9 p.m. or Sundays from 9 a.m. to noon, June through August.

Flag football: Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon, June 1 to Aug.10
