Notre Dame football recruited in-state cornerback Mark Zackery IV without having to travel far. The Indianapolis native has always held the Irish in high regard during his recruitment, and it paid off on Saturday as he verbally committed to Notre Dame. Zackery becomes commitment No. 22 for the Irish in the 2025 class, making it the top collection in the country according to the 247Sports Composite Team Rankings.
Notre Dame now boasts commitments from three of the nation’s top secondary members, including Zackery, who is ranked as the No. 135 prospect and 15th cornerback in the country according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. With limited space remaining in the 2025 class, Notre Dame must ensure that any future commitments are players they truly desire. Zackery fits that mold.
