Oklahoma Wesleyan baseball team is thrilled to have won the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title over the weekend. Despite facing challenges in the final weeks leading up to the tournament, the Eagles were able to turn things around and emerge victorious. This impressive turnaround was a must-win scenario for the team, as they had been struggling and losing games left and right.
Head coach Kirk Kelly praised his team for their ability to handle pressure during the tournament. The NAIA Baseball Tournament Selection Show is set to take place on Thursday afternoon at 4:00, and will be broadcasted live on the NAIA’s YouTube page. Oklahoma Wesleyan will be competing in a double-elimination tournament, where they will need to win in order to move on to the NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho. Overall, it has been an exciting journey for the Eagles as they await their assignment in the national tournament.
