Orange County health inspectors have ordered several restaurants and food vendors to close due to infestations of rodents and cockroaches. On April 17, Korea Health Food Soup & Tea in Garden Grove was closed due to a rodent infestation, while El Pollo Loco and Zait & Zaatar in Anaheim were closed on the same day due to a cockroach infestation. However, both of these businesses were able to reopen on April 18. Nutricion Poderosa in Anaheim was also closed on April 17 due to a cockroach infestation.
On April 11, Mayflower Express in Anaheim was closed due to a cockroach infestation, but it was able to reopen on April 12. Updates from last week’s list include food sales at Arco station in Garden Grove being allowed to resume on April 12 after a rodent infestation closure on April 8. TOGO’S in Anaheim, which was closed on April 9 due to plumbing issues, was allowed to reopen on April 15.
It is important for all businesses operating in Orange County to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene to prevent such incidents from happening again. The information about closures and updates is sourced from the OC Health Care Agency database and will be published weekly with any new developments.
