In April, Adventist Health Bakersfield and OneLegacy are joining the nationwide efforts to promote organ donation during National Donate Life Month. The month-long campaign aims to encourage individuals to register as donors of organs, eyes, and skin tissue through various local, regional, and national activities.
To kick off the campaign, officials gathered at Adventist Health Bakersfield on Chester Avenue for a flag-raising ceremony that symbolizes the importance of organ donation and its potential to save lives.
If you’re interested in becoming a registered organ donor and making a difference in someone’s life, visit donatelife.net/how-you-can-help for more information on how to get involved. Let’s all support this important cause together and help save lives!
