It is free to download with only the requirement of sharing your name, email, and job title.
Technical.ly has been publishing annual print magazines tied to big event series they produced for years. These magazines blended local tech industry news with startup community updates and organizational news, reflecting the importance of the tech industry as more than just an industry but also as a community. However, after a period of change due to the pandemic, Technical.ly has decided to take a different approach with this report.
The terminology used in the report is intentionally designed to highlight each phrase’s subtly different meaning while emphasizing that technology, startups, innovation are all interconnected with phrases like community ecosystem and economy. The report aims to provide an in-depth analysis of Philadelphia’s tech economy by focusing on economic impact research businesses workforce emerging inventions like software.
This report is expected to become a capstone to Technical.ly’s work each year and will be published for each market they serve in future years.
