Pop Star Kim Petras Cancels Festival Appearances Due to Health Concerns, Promotes Mental Health Therapy Amid Success

On Wednesday, pop star Kim Petras announced that she will be canceling her upcoming festival appearances this summer due to unspecified health concerns. The news was shared on social media, where Petras expressed her devastation and informed fans that she is facing health issues that require medical attention.

Despite the disappointment of having to step back from several festivals, including LadyLand Music Fest, Primavera Sound in Barcelona, Mighty Hoopla, and Capitol Hill Block Party, Petras reassured her followers that she loves them and promised to make it up to them soon. She also thanked festival organizers for their understanding and support during this difficult time.

After the success of her collaboration with Sam Smith on the song “Unholy,” which reached Number One in the U.S., Petras revealed that she sought therapy. She explained that the increased attention and pressure she faced as a result of the hit song led her to prioritize her mental health. Petras emphasized the importance of therapy in managing the demands of the music industry and recommended it to others as a valuable tool for self-care and well-being.

Fans were disappointed by Petras’ announcement but understood the importance of taking care of one’s health. They looked forward to seeing her return better than ever very soon, with new music and performances on stage once again.
