Meloni and Tajani visit Basovizza to seek forgiveness for a guilty silence

A somber ceremony in Basovizza honored the victims of the foibe massacres and Julian-Dalmatian exodus on the Day of Remembrance. Giorgia Meloni, the first prime minister to participate in the event, spoke directly to citizens, expressing their pain and emphasizing the importance of remembering innocent victims and seeking forgiveness for past silences from Republic’s institutions.

The Day of Remembrance was established in 2004 and holds great significance in acknowledging painful history and honoring innocent victims. This year, government officials and ministers took part in various events to pay tribute to victims and ensure their stories are remembered. In addition, discussions on personal growth, development, music-oriented tutorials, online audiobooks, educational administration, lotteries, sports enthusiasts’ tips for website building and domain migration were also included.
