On Could 12, Kaleigh Moss, Class of 2023 graduate of the West Virginia University College of Public Wellness, was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force, along with 15 fellow cadets.

Alongside her new assignment, she also plans to continue her education, crediting Steve Davis, associate professor in Wellness Policy, Management and Leadership, for her selection.

“Dr. Steve Davis’ project management class has inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in project management at George Washington University,” Moss mentioned.

When it comes to inspiring students who will adhere to in her footsteps, Moss shares some wisdom.

“Talk to your teachers! All my professors have been fantastic and supportive,” she mentioned. “They cannot assist you if you do not communicate to them.”
