rEvolution Sports Marketing Group, a Chicago-based firm with significant experience in soccer, recently launched a new soccer-specific division called rEv United. The lead-up to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America served as the inspiration for this move.

rEvolution has worked with several high-profile organizations in the soccer space, including MLS, FIFA, and Concacaf. In addition to its work with these organizations, the company became Ligue 1’s agency of record in the U.S. earlier this year.

Heading up the rEv United division is SVP Bruce Bundrant, who has extensive experience in soccer and has worked at organizations such as Relevent Sports Group, AS Monaco, Liverpool, and DC United. According to Bundrant, rEvolution plans to make several hires focused on soccer for the new division.

The agency aims to expand its business by serving both soccer properties and brands. Bundrant believes that rEvolution can help brands navigate the complex soccer landscape, which includes numerous teams, leagues, tournaments, and other entities. With the 2026 World Cup approaching and strong competition from international agencies and U.S.-based agencies focusing on soccer-specific divisions, marketing agencies are vying to position themselves well to win the business of brands looking to capitalize on this rare event.
