Revolutionizing Battery Recycling in Ontario: Call2Recycle and EDI Join Forces with State-of-the-Art Technology

In Ontario, Canada, Call2Recycle Canada has joined forces with Electronic Distributors International Inc (EDI) to implement a new battery sorting technology. This collaboration will significantly increase the province’s capacity to sort and recycle end-of-life batteries. The state-of-the-art battery sorting equipment is located at EDI’s facility in Orillia, Ontario, and is one of only four of its kind in the world. This new equipment will double the plant’s capability to sort used batteries effectively.
