The first-of-its-kind conference in Israel, organized by Rabbi Yossi Arablich and his organization “For Your Sake,” brought together leaders from the world of AI technology and healthcare. Companies such as Google, Microsoft, Mobileye, and Check Point participated, all global leaders in the development of artificial intelligence. State President Yitzhak (Boji) Herzog sent a message of support to the attendees, recognizing the importance of collaboration between Israeli innovation and health systems.

During the conference, Prof. Ran Blitzer from Klalit Health Fund discussed how AI technology can be used to revolutionize medicine. He emphasized its role in early disease detection, improving outcomes and reducing hospitalization days. Prof. Blitzer also spoke about how AI can improve patient care by returning medicine to its core principles. Alon Chaimovich, CEO of Microsoft Israel and Prof. Yossi Matias, Vice President of Google Worldwide also highlighted AI’s potential for breakthrough applications in healthcare.

The conference was not only focused on the benefits of AI but also addressed challenges facing the Israeli healthcare system, such as a shortage of specialized manpower. Prof. Zion Hagai, Chairman of the Israel Medical Association emphasized on investing in human resources in healthcare instead of outsourcing problems like physician shortages criticized by him as being unethical towards patients’ care.
