Only electronic insurance accepted for vehicles crossing King Fahd Causeway to Bahrain

United Insurance Company, which provides mandatory insurance for vehicles entering Bahrain via the King Fahd Causeway, has announced that short insurance periods of 3, 5, and 10 days will now be available exclusively through electronic channels starting from July 1st. Previously, the shortest insurance period obtainable at insurance booths was one month.

The company’s decision to offer short insurance periods through electronic channels is aimed at streamlining the process of obtaining insurance and ensuring a smooth and convenient experience for travelers crossing the bridge. The electronic insurance service allows for the issuance of insurance documents and payment of fees electronically, enabling travelers to obtain insurance before passing through the King Fahd Causeway.

Maysaa Al Kooheji, CEO of United Insurance Company, stated that this move is part of the company’s comprehensive digital transformation policy and an initiative to enhance their services. This step follows the recent launch of the company’s new logo and visual identity in January, marking a new stage in their development process.

By offering short insurance periods through electronic channels, United Insurance Company is committed to improving the overall insurance experience for travelers crossing the King Fahd Causeway and ensuring a seamless journey for all.
