Revolutionizing Time: Climate Change and the Future of Universal Coordinated Time

In a groundbreaking study published on Wednesday, researchers have revealed that the melting of ice in Greenland and Antarctica is impacting the Earth’s rotation speed at a faster rate than previously predicted. This change will affect the calculation of Universal Coordinated Time (UCT), which is used by computer networks to adjust time around the world.
