Shannon Proulx, a native and resident of Crookston, has recently been recognized as the Employee of the Month for May at RiverView Health’s Internal Medicine Department. Shannon started her career in high school working in the dietary department before gaining her LPN. She then spent about five years at Glenmore Recovery (now RiverView Recovery Center) before transitioning to her current role at RiverView’s Crookston Clinic.
Despite starting at the clinic, Shannon continued to work weekends at Glenmore for a few more years, showcasing her strong work ethic and commitment to helping others. Her dedication to teamwork has earned her recognition as an exemplar of Vince Lombardi’s philosophy that individual commitment to a group effort is what drives success in a team, company, society, and civilization.
Shannon shares her life with her significant other, Nate Magsam, and their blended family. Together, they have children ranging from 16 to 24 years old, as well as their dog, Nelly. In their free time, Shannon enjoys ice fishing, running, and walking Nelly while cherishing moments with her loved ones.
