The recognition program is designed to honor two local small businesses chosen by the Chamber on four occasions throughout the year. To be eligible for selection, businesses must have fewer than 20 employees, be in operation for at least five years, be physically located within the city limits, and be a member of the local Chamber of Commerce in good standing. This recognition provides the chosen businesses with valuable exposure and reminds the community of the unique, diverse, and long-standing businesses that call Santa Maria home.
To view the full ceremony honoring these businesses, viewers can watch the City’s livestream of the Tuesday City Council meeting on April 16, 2024
