Schnuck Markets, Inc. is launching SchnucksSpringboard, an accelerator program designed to support local diverse-owned businesses by providing education, resources, and access to opportunities. The program is presented in partnership with the Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council and aims to help business owners succeed.
To apply for the program, interested business owners can visit schnucks.com/springboard before May 12. Those selected to participate will have the opportunity to conduct in-store product trials at select Schnucks stores, receive $5,000 in equity-free funding, and attend business development classes at Schnucks’ St. Louis headquarters.
In recent years, Schnucks has made a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion through its Unity Is Power plan. In 2020, the company introduced this plan and was recognized for its efforts with the Civic Leadership Award from ULSTL. Last year, Schnucks was also named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity by Newsweek.
