Serra High School Pioneers: Launching Groundbreaking Space Science Experiment on ISS

Junipero Serra High School in Gardena recently held a pep rally to celebrate the achievements of its innovative space squad. The team, consisting of seniors Isaiah Dunn, Christopher Holbert, Travis Leonard, Anderson Pecot, and Henry Toler, junior Keith Davie, and freshman Jonathan Cruz, presented their 3D-printing experiment sent into space on the International Space Station.

The team members not only want to push the boundaries of knowledge with their experiment but also aim to establish their school as a leading institution for studying science. Travis Leonard, one of the team members, expressed his excitement about being pioneers in this field and setting a new path for future students at Serra.
