On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the New Ipswich Library will be hosting several vendors in its main room in support of Small Business Saturday. The event will feature Lavender Wishes, The Silver Branch, individual vendors, and New Ipswich Library merchandise for purchase.
As part of the event, there will be a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses and individuals, including 100 gallons of heating oil from Brideau Energy. Tickets for the raffle are $10 each or four tickets for $30. People who do not use heating oil can purchase tickets on behalf of a family who could use it. Tickets are available at the New Ipswich Library, and there will be an in-person drawing at Small Business Saturday. All proceeds from the raffle tickets will go toward supporting the New Ipswich Library.
Other small businesses and individuals that have donated raffle items include Forge and Vine of Groton, Mass., New Ipswich illustrator Matt Patterson, The Optimist Café of Peterborough, The Birchwood Inn of Temple, Mother Hubbard’s Ladle of New Ipswich, Agway of Peterborough, John’s Market of Greenville, The Window Shop at Monadnock Community Hospital, Silver Scone Teas of New Ipswich, and Twelve Pines of Peterborough. It’s great to see the community coming together to support the library and local businesses on Small Business Saturday.
