1.) EDDIE NUÑEZ believed the NIT would be a fantastic concept for the UNM men’s basketball group. Immediately after the Lobos trailed to Utah Valley by 22 points on Bob King Court – effectively, perhaps not. Coach King is rolling more than in his grave. two.) If the saying “it’s not how you begin (14-) but how you finish (eight-12)” holds correct, then the season was truly practically nothing additional than mediocre. three.) Hopefully Richard Pitino and Mike Bradbury will take the “Paul Weir Pledge” – the golf clubs stay in the workplace closet till UNM receives an NCAA bid.

Cannot Think the adverse comments from Chris and Simon in Rio Rancho and other people. Guys played difficult, had some challenging losses and Pitino so substantially improved than final two coaches. Enjoy my Lobos generally.

CONGRATS TO the Lobo men’s basketball group for a excellent season! It is about time to spend Richard “NITino” a salary that is constant with his functionality.

AS A person who was born in NC and attended UNM starting in 1979 I think about myself each a UNC and UNM fan. As such I see snarky comments created by these who have no clue what becoming a fan implies and it tends to make me laugh. And, playing city or county men’s league ball does not truly imply that you people know something about coaching a big college group so, cease. The Lobos had excellent year playing effectively above expectations, they have to have to be congratulated.

THE VENOM spewed by Lobo haters is truly pretty amusing. No fan of a group likes to shed. Wonder how Arizona fan’s really feel about how their coach “failed” them in the NCAA tournament? Arizona now owns the mantle of becoming a #two seed losing to a #15 Ivy League college hence supplanting UNM’s loss to Harvard. Love the madness.

QUITTERS: Good job, LaTascya and LaTora, of letting your teammates down.

SORRY TO SEE the Duff twins go out like they did I hope they are OK. I’m guessing they left mainly because they have been fed up with Bradbury’s acerbic coaching style.

OK BRADBURY HATERS, clarify away Thursday night’s win.

— MAL, Albuquerque

KUDOS TO THE Lady Lobos for beating NAU, when playing quick handed right after two of your teammates bailed on the group deciding not to play in the WNIT. A collateral advantage was some lesser employed players got big playing time.
