Northern Public Radio’s Little Science Storytime with WNIJ and WNIU

The South Beloit Public Library’s summer story time is back for 2024! Join us on Friday mornings or Sunday afternoons for a fun-filled reading and activity experience under our beautiful cottonwood tree. This series is designed specifically for children ages 3-5 and will introduce them to the local plant and animal friends that call nature home, helping them build their nature vocabulary.

Each week will feature a new nature theme that will be repeated on Sundays, so don’t miss out! All you need to do is register once for the series, and you can attend as many story times as you’re able to. Thanks to the support from the Judith H. Adams Fund, which is dedicated to promoting nature literacy, you can use the coupon code story2024 to receive free admission to this program.

The event takes place at Nature At The Confluence and costs just $5. It runs every week through August 4, 2024, with sessions on Sunday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. For more information about this exciting opportunity, please contact Nature At The Confluence or the South Beloit Public Library at (815) 200-6910 or email them at today!
