In 2024, the Super Science Club was recognized as the Outstanding Club or Organization of the Year at the Impact and Excellence Awards. The event took place at the DoubleTree by Hilton and saw a group of a dozen club members and advisors accept the prestigious award on stage. Among them was club President Bryant Pepe, a third-year physics and earth science student, who expressed his excitement over winning the award, stating that it felt like all their hard work had paid off. Pepe emphasized the club’s dedication to providing the best possible experience for its students and community, highlighting the impact they were able to make.
The Impact and Excellence Awards honored over 50 students, faculty, and staff for their outstanding contributions to the college community. Adventure Society President Ben Surosky was another winner, receiving the award for Outstanding Club or Organization Member of the Year. Surosky, a third-year Spanish student, shared his happiness at winning the award, stating that he was grateful for the opportunity to lead the club. He expressed his satisfaction in seeing how far the club had come under his leadership.
