Identity of victim revealed in deadly industrial accident at Huntsville company

A man was tragically killed on Wednesday morning in Huntsville, Alabama when granite fell on him at Huntsville Granite and Marble LLC on Memorial Parkway. According to Don Webster of Huntsville Emergency Medical Services Inc. (HEMSI), the victim, identified as 32-year-old John Hopper by Madison County Coroner Tyler Berryhill, was killed after the incident. Multiple emergency response teams, including HEMSI, Huntsville Fire and Rescue, and the Madison County Rescue Squad, were at the scene to provide assistance.

This unfortunate event serves as a reminder of the importance of workplace safety measures to prevent such accidents from occurring.
