Trillium Health Resources, a healthcare organization in the east, has announced the launch of a new healthcare plan that focuses on behavioral health. This plan is designed to serve uninsured individuals and those on Medicaid in multiple counties and will begin on July 1st.
As a specialty care manager, Trillium Health Resources supports individuals with substance abuse, mental illness, and intellectual/developmental disabilities. The new plan, known as the Behavioral Health and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities Tailored Plan or Trillium Tailored Plan, aims to help people manage their behavioral and physical health services effectively.
Some of the benefits of the Trillium Tailored Plan include new benefits for physical and pharmacy services, non-emergency medical transportation, a nurse line, physical health prevention programs, and Trillium Advantage, a value-added service. The organization has updated its website with information about the new plan and has reached out to eligible members.
Trillium Health Resources is working to provide comprehensive care for individuals with a focus on behavioral health needs and is dedicated to improving access to quality healthcare services for all. As part of this effort, they have tailored this plan specifically for those who are uninsured or have serious mental illnesses or severe substance use disorders, intellectual/developmental disabilities or traumatic brain injuries NC Innovations Waiver members or those on the waitlist. The plan will be available in 46 counties that Trillium serves.
