Tyrece Radford, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound guard from Baton Rouge, La., has been named Player of the Week by Texas A&M after leading the team to victories against Missouri and No. 6 Tennessee. In the win against Tennessee, he scored 27 points on 9-of-17 (52.9 percent) shooting, along with five rebounds and five assists. He made an impressive 53.1 percent of his shots and connected on 80.0 percent of his shots from the charity stripe.
Collin Murray-Boyles, a 6-foot-7, 231-pound freshman forward from Columbia, S.C., has been named Freshman of the Week after leading South Carolina to wins over Ole Miss and Vanderbilt. He averaged an impressive 23.5 points in those games and also grabbed eight rebounds and recorded a career-high of two blocks.
Murray-Boyles shot an amazing 78.6 percent from the floor in both games and had a standout performance against Vanderbilt where he scored a career-high of 31 points on just 14 shots (an efficiency of an incredible 82.4 percent).
