UNESCO Designation of Inform es-Sultan as World Heritage Website Ignites Israeli Outrage

The United Nations World Heritage Committee has declared the Inform es-Sultan archaeological website in Jericho a “World Heritage Website in Palestine.” This choice was made at a convention in Riyadh, in response to UNESCO.
