Union-Endicott High School’s technology department awarded Program of Excellence

The Technology & Engineering Department at Union-Endicott High School has been honored with the New York State Technology Education & Engineering Association Program of Excellence Award. The department, which offers a range of programs such as welding, automotive, flight simulation, and carpentry, was nominated for the award by the Southern Tier Technology & Engineering Educators Association.

Corey Munn, an Engineering Teacher at the school, expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating, “It is a great honor to receive the award and to be recognized by your peers for the effort we have put into the program.” The Program of Excellence Award is one of the highest honors given by the New York State Technology & Engineering Educators Association.

As a result of this recognition, Union-Endicott High School will now be considered for the International Technology Educators & Engineering Association’s Program of Excellence Award, representing New York State in the process. This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the school’s technology department and their commitment to providing students with high-quality education in the field of technology and engineering.
