Miller’s objective is to foster cooperation between Yerevan and Baku in reaching a lasting peace agreement.

As a journalist, I had the opportunity to speak with Matthew Miller, the State Department spokesperson, about the upcoming meeting in Brussels between Prime Minister of Armenia, Secretary of State of the United States, and President of European Commission. Miller emphasized the importance of encouraging Armenia and Azerbaijan to work on resolving their differences and achieving a lasting peace agreement during every engagement with their governments. However, he did not provide specific details about the agenda of the meeting.

Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council, shared general information about the agenda of the meeting which will focus on trilateral cooperation and ways to strengthen Armenia’s resilience. The meeting will be an opportunity for high-ranking officials to discuss various aspects of political, economic and security cooperation between the countries involved.

Overall, the goal of this engagement is to enhance cooperation and collaboration between Armenia, the United States and Europe in addressing regional challenges and promoting stability in Caucasus region. This reflects ongoing efforts to support peace and stability in Caucasus region while strengthening relationships between countries involved.
