An update has been provided by the Chattanooga Police Department regarding the shooting incident on Eastgate Circle. The department has stated that the shooting was a targeted incident and the victim, who is 27 years old, is currently in critical condition with life-threatening injuries. The CPD’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the shooting and is asking anyone with information to contact them at 423-698-2525.
In a previous report, it was revealed that the victim was entering a business on Eastgate Circle at approximately 10:00am on Friday when one or more suspects began shooting. The victim was quickly transported to the hospital for treatment. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection to the shooting.
