Texas A&M Basketball has had an impressive start to their season, currently sitting at a 4-0 record. Next, the team will be heading to Orlando, Florida for the ESPN Invitational Tournament, where they will have a rematch against Penn State. They are looking to avenge last year’s NCAA Tournament opening-round loss.

In the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll, Texas A&M rose two spots to No. 13, proving their impressive start has caught the attention of voters. They have remained undefeated heading into the ESPN Invitational Tournament, positioning themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the college basketball landscape.

Other SEC teams in the top 25 include Alabama at No. 22, Kentucky at No. 16, Mississippi State who has entered the rankings for the first time this year with a 5-0 record and Arkansas, Auburn and South Carolina also received votes in the poll. This shows the strength of the conference in the early part of the season.
