Van Lith’s Journey Continues: From Louisville to TCU and Beyond

Hailey Van Lith, a talented basketball player who made it to the Elite Eight with LSU this season before losing to Iowa, has decided to transfer to TCU for her final year. Van Lith spent three seasons with Louisville and one season at LSU, during which she averaged 14.5 points, four rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. She played as a wing for Louisville and transitioned to a point guard position at LSU.

Van Lith’s time with Louisville and LSU saw her excel in basketball, but also experience some challenges, including injuries that caused forfeits and open tryouts to add players to the roster. TCU officially announced her decision on Friday as she joins a program that made an appearance in the AP Top 25 this season but struggled due to injuries.

Despite facing some challenges during her time at TCU, Van Lith is excited about joining the program and bringing her exceptional statistics as the only active Division I player with over 1,900 points, 500 rebounds, and 350 assists. She is also a graduate student and has been actively involved with USA Basketball. Additionally, she is a candidate for the 3×3 national team that will be competing at the Paris Olympics this summer.

Van Lith’s departure from LSU marks the end of an era for Mulkey’s team, but also opens up opportunities for new players to step up and make their mark on college basketball.

During her time at TCU, Van Lith will have an opportunity to showcase her skills once again in front of fans who have been eagerly anticipating her arrival on campus. The Horned Frogs are expected to start strong again next season under second-year coach Mark Campbell.

Overall, Van Lith’s decision to transfer to TCU represents an exciting new chapter in both his personal journey as well as his career in basketball. With his exceptional talent and determination towards success both on and off the court, there is no doubt that he will continue making significant contributions wherever he goes next.

In conclusion, Hailey Van Lith’s decision to transfer from Louisiana State University (LSU) to Texas Christian University (TCU) marks another chapter in his successful career as a basketball player. As he enters his fifth year of playing college basketball at TCU under coach Mark Campbell
