A search is currently underway for a missing 71-year-old man named Billy Kearse in Gaffney, South Carolina. Kearse was last seen on Tuesday morning walking along Ann’s Trail near Scruggs Trail, accompanied by a small Chihuahua dog. He had gone out for a fishing trip when he disappeared.
Kearse has health concerns that require the use of a tracheotomy and voice box amplifier. He is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, with shoulder-length gray hair. In addition to these features, Kearse also has a tattoo on his left upper arm that reads “Jennie.”
If you have any information about Kearse’s whereabouts, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC or the Cherokee 911 Center at 864-487-2747. The authorities are eager to locate him as soon as possible.
