The Badgers have recently offered an invitation to Jakob Weatherspoon, a promising athlete from Avon, Ohio who is part of the class of 2026. Weatherspoon, ranked as the No. 16 athlete and No. 7 recruit from Ohio by 247Sports, has already received offers from numerous schools including Syracuse, Pittsburgh, Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin and Cincinnati.
Weatherspoon currently attends Avon High School in Ohio and stands at 5-foot-11 weighs 172 pounds. He is considered a four-star recruit and is predicted by On3’s recruiting prediction machine to choose Ohio State with a nearly 92% chance of committing to them. With this addition to their roster, Wisconsin now has a total of 26 athletes committed for their class of 2026.
