The Wisconsin deer hunting season overlaps with the end of Minnesota’s rifle hunting season for deer. Hunting stores are offering helpful tips on how to make the most out of their hunting season.

Scott Miller, an employee from Northwest Outlet, suggests wearing layers and having wool socks on a hunting trip. “This weekend marks the overlap between Minnesota hunters and Wisconsin hunters,” Miller said. “Wisconsin hunters have a bit more pressure because they only have one week to get their gear.”

Pat Kukull, co-owner of Superior Shooters Supply, advises young hunters to be patient during the Wisconsin Deer Hunting season. “We had a rush for Minnesota, but now it’s time for Wisconsin,” Kukull said. “Online registration has made it easier for our customers to prepare.”
