The 14th Annual China Business Conference hosted by the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington DC from May 6–8 is considered to be one of the premier forums in the United States for exchanging ideas on US-China economic and commercial relations. This conference serves as one of the top forums globally for discussing economic, political, and regulatory developments affecting American businesses in China.
Two leaders from AmCham China will be attending this conference: Partner Lester Ross and Jeffrey Kessler. Ross will be participating in the conference as Partner and Vice Chair of the Board of Governors, former General Counsel, current Chair of the Policy Committee, and of the Insurance Forum of the American Chamber of Commerce – People’s Republic of China (AmCham). He will engage with business leaders, public officials, and policy authorities. On the other hand, Kessler will be speaking on a panel titled “A Look Back and a Look Forward: China Policy in the Next Administration” on May 8 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. ET. The panel will discuss how the United States’ economic policy towards China may change under a second term of President Biden or Trump. Joining Mr. Kessler on this panel will be high-ranking economic officials from various administrations, including the former head of trade enforcement at the Commerce Department under President Trump.
