American Airlines is launching a new collection of premium amenities over Memorial Day Weekend, with a focus on enhancing the in-flight experience for its customers. The airline is introducing a new flagship suite, as well as updated bedding and dining options. The amenity kit program will cycle through different skincare products and offer specialty kits to provide a unique experience for each customer. This move by American Airlines is part of an effort to prepare for summer travel and offer luxury amenities to its customers.
The airline’s vice president of customer experience, Kim Cisek, stated that the goal is to provide a memorable travel experience and connect customers with the people and experiences that matter most to them. While many of the new amenities are geared towards premium cabins, main cabin passengers will also have access to updated bedding, seat enhancements, 4K seatback screens, Bluetooth connectivity, new charging ports, 1,500 free entertainment options, and high-speed WiFi.
In terms of dining options, American Airlines customers can look forward to new flavors inspired by international cuisine and destinations worldwide. Domestic cold entrées include a Mediterranean bowl, a bistro grain bowl, a pesto pasta salad, and edamame and mandarin orange slaw salad. Premium cabins also offer a variety of new culinary items and award-winning wines, such as macadamia-crusted sea bass with citrus cream sauce, quinoa, toasted orzo
