Should Apple develop a stylus for use on the Vision Pro viewer?

Apple is currently working on developing a new stylus that will be compatible with the Vision Pro viewer, which was launched in February 2023 at a starting price of $3,499. This stylus, which has already undergone internal testing, will have support for the operating system visionOS and will be usable with drawing applications such as Freeform and Pixelmator.

The Vision Pro viewer is Apple’s venture into mixed reality (MR), which was announced in June 2022 and allows interaction with applications using hands, voice, and eyes. The viewer utilizes spatial computing technology and features a three-dimensional user interface. Apple aimed to create the most advanced consumer electronics device ever with this product.

Upon its launch, Apple expressed its intention to revolutionize how people work, collaborate, connect, relive memories, and enjoy entertainment with the Vision Pro viewer. To enhance the capabilities of this product, Apple has developed a new stylus that will require updated software and is anticipated to be announced at the upcoming developer conference, WWDC.
