Tippler returns to World Cup competition following maternity leave

Tamara Tippler, a 33-year-old speed specialist, has decided to return to the ski circuit and join the women’s World Cup team once again. After taking maternity leave for almost a year, Tamara realized how much she missed the feeling of speed and being in race mode. She had always planned to make a comeback to the World Cup, but wanted to make sure she could still push herself to the limit in terms of speed.

After training with her colleagues and racing in Saalbach, Tamara knew that she wasn’t ready to close the chapter on her skiing career just yet. With her daughter Mia being well taken care of while she’s on the road with the race team, Tamara is excited to prove that it’s possible to balance family life with a professional skiing career.

Head coach Roland Assinger is thrilled to have Tamara back on the team, and is confident that her positive attitude and determination will be a valuable asset. Tamara is ready to take on the challenge of combining motherhood with elite-level ski racing, and is grateful to the Austrian Ski Federation for giving her the opportunity to pursue her passion.
