Highlights from the African Business Conference showcase lucrative investment and growth prospects in Africa.

The Bentley African Student Association (ASA) team, led by Danquah, organized and executed a successful conference that drew attendees from both Bentley University and beyond. This year’s event featured ten speakers, compared to just three the previous year. The keynote address delivered by Jean-Paul Adam was particularly well-received by attendees, covering topics such as policy making, international collaboration, and unity among African nations. Kristen Barth, a Tufts University student, expressed her appreciation for the conference and commended the ASA team for their hard work and dedication.

The success of the conference can be attributed to the efforts of the various ASA student teams responsible for marketing, outreach, and operations. These teams handled important aspects of the conference, including budgeting, securing speakers and sponsors, organizing facilities, and promoting the event. Early in the planning process, they met with Bentley President E. LaBrent Chrite, who provided support and encouragement for the event. Danquah expressed gratitude for this support, noting that knowing President Chrite backed their efforts gave them the confidence to aim for even greater growth in future events. With this support, Danquah is optimistic about the conference’s potential to expand and continue making a positive impact on both Bentley University and beyond.
