The House Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Communications and Technology has postponed its scheduled hearing with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), originally set for May 7, 2024. The purpose of the hearing was to discuss the FCC’s budget and ensure accountability on behalf of the American people. The new date for the hearing has not been determined yet.
The decision to postpone the hearing was made by the Chair of the Subcommittee. Once a new date is set, the hearings will still be open to the public and press and will be streamed live online at https://energycommerce.house.gov/.
