Vandalism caught on camera: Thief strikes Miramar business twice in one night

The grand opening of The Forever Smoke Shop in Miramar was put on hold after the business was vandalized just before it was set to open. Video footage captured a man sneaking up to the shop with hammers in hand, smashing through the front windows and door. After causing damage, he took a photo of his work before moving to the back of the store to do more. He returned 20 minutes later to finish off the job, destroying the surveillance cameras.

The owner discovered the extent of the vandalism when he arrived in the morning for the grand opening. Anthony Pascariella, owner of Major Ink Studios nearby, expressed shock and support for his neighboring business. However, due to fear and uncertainty about the perpetrator’s identity and motives, The Forever Smoke Shop owner declined to speak on camera.

Miramar police and Broward Crime Stoppers are asking for any information that may lead to the arrest of the suspect. The community is encouraged to contact authorities with any potential leads as they work towards bringing justice to those affected by this incident.
