The Milwaukee Bucks will face the Indiana Pacers in Game 4 without their star players, Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo. Lillard suffered an Achilles injury in Game 3 and is wearing a walking boot, while Antetokounmpo is out due to a calf strain.
In the absence of Lillard and Antetokounmpo, the Bucks will rely on increased production from players like Khris Middleton, Bobby Portis, and Brook Lopez. Lillard had been stepping up his performance in the playoffs with Antetokounmpo out, averaging 24.3 points and seven assists in the regular season. However, Milwaukee has struggled without him on the floor, going 1-8 in regular season games he missed.
The Pacers secured a win over the Bucks in Game 3 with an and-1 floater from Tyrese Haliburton after Lillard aggravated his Achilles injury late in regulation and was unable to score in overtime. Head coach Doc Rivers confirmed that both players would be out for Game 4, leaving the Bucks at a significant disadvantage as they try to keep up with the Pacers’ strong playoff performance.
It remains unclear when Lillard or Antetokounmpo will be able to return to the court, but the Bucks will have to find a way to compete against the Pacers without them in Game 4.
