Canada’s dominant opening game in the world para ice hockey championship against Japan ended with a score of 19-0. The Canadian team, led by Dominic Cozzolino with four goals and four assists, was the driving force behind their victory. Tyler McGregor and Liam Hickey each contributed three goals and four assists to the effort.

The Canadian goalie, Adam Kingsmill, had an easy time in net as he only had to make one save during the game. Other players who contributed to Canada’s victory included Adam Dixon with a hat trick, Anton Jacobs-Webb with two goals, and goals from Corbyn Smith, Micah Kovacevich, Vincent Boily, and Auren Halbert.
