Free Admission to Denver Museum of Nature & Science Celebrated for Dia del Niño this Sunday

On April 28, the Mexican Cultural Center and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science will be hosting Dia del Niño, a celebration of Children’s Day in Mexico. This national holiday is a time to honor the joy, innocence, and fun that children bring. The event will feature music, dance, and various activities for all to enjoy.

Rachel Garcia, Executive Director of the Mexican Cultural Center, emphasizes the special place children hold in Latino and Mexican culture, making Dia del Niño a day to share with all cultures. She believes that this day should be celebrated by everyone, regardless of their background or nationality.

The event will take place at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning. It is a day filled with celebratory energy, excitement, and community engagement for people of all ages to enjoy. Admission to Dia del Niño is free, with the added bonus of half off admission to the “Orcas” exhibit and Planetarium shows. The event promises to be a dynamic and fun-filled day for everyone involved.
