Tractor Supply Co. located at 72 Newton St. in Greenfield is set to host two exciting events on Saturday, April 20. The first event is a backyard poultry event that will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event aims to provide customers with the knowledge they need to care for and manage their own at-home flock of chickens or ducks.
Robert Ryczek, the manager of the Greenfield Tractor Supply store, expressed his enthusiasm for the growing popularity of raising backyard poultry and how having fresh eggs readily available has become increasingly convenient for many families today. The event will feature expert partners who will be available to provide guidance, as well as starter kits, feeders, bedding, and other essentials available for purchase to assist with raising backyard poultry.
In addition to the poultry event, there will also be a Plant-a-Seed event at Tractor Supply Co., which takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., designed specifically for young gardeners who want to learn the basics through a hands-on activity. Children can visit the store and plant a perennial butterfly garden while supplies last before learning how to care for their garden as it grows from one of Tractor Supply’s team members who will guide them through the process step by step
