On April 25, 2024, the Croatian Air Force made history as their Rafale multi-purpose fighter jets entered Croatian airspace. The pilots had taken off from Bordeaux, France and entered Croatian airspace in the Istrian County region around 12:00 p.m.

Upon entering Croatian airspace, the pilots sent a message to all citizens announcing their arrival. They declared, “We have now entered Croatian airspace and it will be even safer from today onwards. The Croatian Rafales and pilots have returned home!”

This momentous occasion marks an important milestone for the Croatian Air Force and highlights the pride and capabilities of their pilots and aircraft. The successful entry into Croatian airspace demonstrates the strength and readiness of the Croatian military to protect and defend the country.
