DCS Corp. Awarded $49.8M Contract to Enhance Naval Visible, Electro-Optic/Infrared Intelligent Systems

DCS Corp. has received a contract from the U.S. Navy to provide engineering, programmatic, and technical support services focused on enhancing naval visible, electro-optic/infrared advanced intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems and technology.

Under the contract, DCS Corp. will conduct research and development related to the generation and use of radiation in the wavelength region between near-ultraviolet and far-infrared wavelengths. This work will help advance the Department of Defense’s capabilities in this critical area.

The contract has a base value of $9.7 million, with a cumulative value of $49.8 million if all options are exercised. The work will be performed at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C., with an expected completion date of April 2025.
