Participants will have the opportunity to attend seven different workshops taught by animal science teachers, covering topics such as meat science, calving simulation, and more.
The sessions are designed to be fun learning experiences in a relaxed atmosphere. Parents and adults interested in the livestock industry and educating youth are encouraged to register and participate as well. The cost is $15/participant for those who register and pay online by May 22, with late registrations costing $20/participant. This fee includes lunch provided by the Frontier County 4-H Council and Ag Valley Co-op. For more information, contact Kimberly at kimberly.cook@unl.edu.
Led by Nebraska Extension educators, UNL Animal Science professors, and NCTA teachers, this event is an excellent opportunity for youth to gain a deeper understanding of science, agricultural literacy, and technology related to Animal Science.
