Dr. Sejal Hathi, the New Oregon Health Authority Director, is set to embark on her fifth regional tour in Central Oregon starting on Monday. Her visit will focus on understanding the healthcare goals of the Central Oregon community and what they require from the state in terms of health care services. Prior to her visit to Central Oregon, Dr. Hathi toured the Portland area, engaging with important organizations like the Miracles Club, Virginia Garcia Wellness Center, and Central City Concern. This outreach is part of a broader statewide tour aimed at understanding and prioritizing the health needs of all Oregon communities in the Oregon Health Authority’s strategic planning.
During her visit to Mosaic Federally Qualified Health Center, Dr. Hathi will participate in a facility tour and a roundtable listening session with local healthcare providers and patient support staff. On Tuesday, she plans to visit a public health facility in Redmond to meet with representatives from various public health agencies in the region. Matthew Draxton will also be present during these events and report back on NewsChannel 21 at Five about Dr. Hathi’s observations from traveling across the state and her key issues in Central Oregon.
