The Milwaukee Bucks Foundation has announced the launch of its annual Foundation Week, which will take place from April 1 to April 7. This week is aimed at supporting the Foundation’s initiatives in health and wellness, as well as youth education. Arvind Gopalratnam, the Executive Director of the Foundation, spoke about how the proceeds from this week would benefit these areas.
During Foundation Week, there will be a weeklong auction and a special broadcast auction that will take place during the game against the Washington Wizards on April 2. Fans will have the opportunity to contribute in new ways, such as through Mystery Boxes prepared by Kandu Industries, a nonprofit that employs adults with disabilities in Janesville. The Foundation’s focus on health and wellness and youth education underscores their commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
In addition to these events, the 50/50 raffle at home games has been expanded during Foundation Week to provide even more opportunities for fans to give back. The Bucks Foundation’s work is made possible with the support of sponsors like CBS 58, who are helping to raise awareness about this important cause. More information about how to participate in Foundation Week can be found on their website.
